Masumi

 

Masumi; a multi-talented Singer, Songwriter, Pianist, Composer. Born in Niigata, Japan in the 1980's. She began her musical journey with piano lessons at age four, and classical music performances at age six. Gifted with “Perfect Pitch”, Masumi is a natural musical prodigy.

 

Her father was a fan of the sounds of urban America, playing funk and soul around their family home. This created the perfect home environment for Masumi to develop, as soon as she could she moved to the United States to peruse a career in music.

 

Masumi's latest single Girls Make The World Go Round is a powerhouse disco-esque anthem speaking of female empowerment, a Cindy Lauper "Girls Make The World Go Round" for the 21st Century.
